Sankranti, Ugadi, Bathukamma, Dussehra, Diwali and more — the celebrations that carry Telugu heritage forward for the next generation in New Zealand.

Join us with your family for the special Vinayaka Chavithi Pooja and community celebration. Only families who would like to perform the Pooja need to register. Other devotees and community members are welcome to attend the celebration for free. NZTA will provide the Vinayaka idol and required Pooja items for each registered family.

Bringing both into a single celebration lets our community honour the full arc of the season together. Expect traditional pooja, cultural performances, festive food and plenty of time to catch up with Telugu families from across Auckland.
