The New Zealand Telugu Association is a volunteer-run non-profit. There is no paid fundraising team taking a cut — donations go straight into the programmes below, and you choose which one.
The most useful gift we receive. It lets the committee move quickly — covering a venue shortfall, a family in crisis, or a programme that suddenly outgrew its budget.
Halls, sound, staging, artist travel and the hundred small costs behind a festival that feels like home. Keeps ticket prices low so no family is priced out.
Teaching materials, classroom hire, teacher training and scholarships so cost is never the reason a child stops learning Telugu.
Dance and music workshops, stage time for young performers, sports days, and mentoring for students settling into study or their first job in New Zealand.
Settlement support, grocery and transport help for students, hospital visits, and a quiet hand for families going through a hard stretch.
Our hardest and most important work — funeral and repatriation costs, emergency accommodation, and immediate assistance when something goes badly wrong.
Card payments run through Stripe. NZTA never sees or stores your card number.
You get a numbered receipt by email the moment your payment clears — keep it for your records.
NZTA has no paid fundraisers. Your gift goes into programmes, not overheads.
